THE UPSC BLUEPRINT / PRACTICE

Assessments & Progress Reviews

Measure whether preparation is becoming more reliable, not merely whether more hours are being spent.

REVIEW CADENCE

Assess at three useful intervals

After each practice set

  • Accuracy and skipped questions
  • Error categories and causes
  • Time per section or answer

Weekly review

  • Topics completed versus planned
  • Recurring weaknesses and revision backlog
  • Specific adjustments for the next week

Monthly assessment

  • Mixed-subject readiness and retention
  • Writing quality and time discipline
  • Whether study priorities should change
DECISION RULES
