01 · Chapter practice
- Finish one defined chapter or topic before attempting questions.
- Answer without consulting notes; mark uncertain responses.
- Review every explanation, including correctly guessed answers.
Use questions to strengthen understanding—not simply to accumulate scores.
For each incorrect or uncertain response, record the topic, why your choice failed, the corrected concept and a retest date. Keep separate counts for knowledge gaps, misreading, elimination errors and time pressure.
UPSC Prelims General Studies Paper I uses negative marking for wrong answers. Always follow the current official examination instructions for the applicable marking scheme.
